Andrew Majeske

Andrew Majeske is a recovering lawyer and Associate Professor in the Literature Department and Justice Studies Program at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY) in New York City. His research interests range around topics at the intersection of law and literature, and his work invariably addresses issues in political philosophy. He is author of Equity in English Renaissance Literature, as well as numerous articles, and editor of Justice Women and Power in English Renaissance Drama, He is currently revising a draft of a work of fiction–a dramatic rendering of events leading to Galileo’s first public lecture (on the geography of Dante’s Inferno). Professor Majeske is also currently working on a book manuscript tentatively entitled ‚Law, Literature & Leo Strauss.‘
